The owner helped me get started in brewing. He encouraged me to do my own reading and exploring but was always easily reachable by email when I had specific questions. I opted to start right out with all-grain brewing, probably the most difficult way to make beer, and he was very helpful and encouraging. He has always been very friendly and welcoming to my three small children, who love visiting his store. Cost was an important reason why I started brewing, and he has helped me learn techniques that save me money, even though they obviously don't help his bottom line. He provides great service and is very good about having malt ready for me when I am in a hurry and call ahead of time. This business is a great resource.
