Ground beef seems to be a few cents cheaper than at other places. And a pound of bacon goes fort about 5.00 dollars which is not bad. I imagine the quality of beef to be a little better than something like Hormel or Tyson. Local brown eggs for 3.00 and a friendly staff

A fantastic local resource. On Saturday you can get produce at the Farmers Market in Overman and walk 3 blocks to Steeges for some of the best meat and farm fresh eggs you'll ever have.
We LOVE Steege's! Their prices are super competitive (often times cheaper than super markets) and the meat is top notch. They have a great selection of sandwich meats and cheeses too! The staff is very friendly and the inside is very cool.
