I ordered a candy bouquet for my son to be delivered to him at work. The bouquet itself looked nice, but when I placed the order online, I had asked for a specific message to be put on a card. Not only did they not include the message, they signed a generic thinking of you card with my first full first name, which is not the name I am known by by anyone. So when my son texted me with a picture of the bouquet and card, I was extremely disappointed. What they had done was take my payment information (which does have my legal first name attached) and used that. I emailed Main Street Sweets that same day and no one either called me or returned the email. I waited several days then called them around lunch time. According to their hours state on the message they were open, but I did not receive a callback from them after nearly two more days.

I had a wonderful experience when I ordered a candy bouquet for my daughter's birthday. This was her first birthday away from home, so it was important to me that she get it on her birthday. The staff were very helpful and even called me back to double check the message on the card. My daughter's birthday came and went and she did not receive it. When I called Main Street Sweets to ask about delivery, the man I spoke with had delivered it himself to the dorm office and wanted me to let him know if we couldn't locate it. Because, if not, he was going to deliver another one to her today! There ended up being a mix up at the UNI dorm office and my daughter didn't get it until the next day. I'm so impressed that Main Street Sweets wanted to make it right even though it was not their mistake! Thank you for excellent service!
As a small business owner myself, I try very hard to support local businesses. I was very disappointed in the customer service and will certainly not be using them again in future. Very poor customer service.
