We try to take our dog here already two times a week. We love it, during the warm seasons they have a dog fountain for water. During the cold they put up boards around the picnic tables to block the wind. They have a smaller fenced in area of to the side if your nervous about other dogs, out just starting to introduce your dog to other dogs. The only thing I'd when it's dark there are only two lights and they don't make it the brightest place.
Very happy Cedar Falls offers a park where dogs can run freely and safely and get their exercise.
I take my German shepherd here almost everyday and she appsolutly loves it. The people are usually really great and super friendly, and their pets are the same. There is usually a decent crowd, especially 1-2 hours before it gets dark. The park is a good size, needs some newer wood chips and has some bare spots in the grass, but it doesn't bother me much. Has a bathroom for thr people and water fountains for the pups. Big and small dogs welcomed, there is a separate spot for people with small dogs if they feel overwhelmed. Over all I think it's a pretty great place.
