Takes forever for them to answer a phone, no matter what time of day I call! Won't pick up our outgoing mail even though the flag is up one time our outgoing mail was in the box for 4 days and finally I took it to the post office to mail it. :( Maybe our carrier doesn't know what it means when the flag is up. I called one time and they said they would look into it and call me back never did! Postal service is an oxymoron!
Absolutely the worst.
Most of the time we have no problem with the post office delivering our mail. But then yesterday it was storming all day. Instead of putting packages in the door or under the awning like they usually do, THIS is what we came home to. Both the box and all of our mail were soaked through. This is ridiculous!
About half the time I'm there the lines are long, but counter staff is friendly and helpful. Access to po box when the post office is closed.
DONT EVER SEND INTERNATIONAL MAIL THROUGH USPS in Cedar Falls, IA! Even if you ask for tracking, they will tell you that it is not possible when in reality it is. They don't tell you your options for mailing. They just tell you whatever is convenient for them so that way if your package gets lost, you can't blame them and raise a riot for them, they find ways in which will save their own butts. I sent a package over a month ago and paid $40.00 to mail it and it still hasn't reached the destination...it's way too much time. Never trusting the mail in Cedar Falls, IA to send my international mail EVER again.
