The furniture was rejected by the current residents and put back into a warehouse and on hold until June 15. Despite Yonkers having my current phone number, they did not call me. I still do not know how Yonkers got my old address, since I gave them only my new address, and why they sent everything there instead of to the address I gave them. Over the last five weeks, my furniture has been shifted from one place to another rather than being delivered to me at the address Yonkers has had as the correct address since the day I bought it.
I ordered a few pieces of furniture which I charged to my Yonkers card on May 28th. After much confusion on the saleswoman's part and nearly an hour getting the order completed, I was told the furniture was in stock in a nearby warehouse and would be delivered on June 7th. That evening I received a thank you email from the sales woman saying thanks and your furniture will not be delivered until July 7th! I should have called right away, but I was working a lot of hours and moving, too and I let it slip-bad move. My credit card and the furniture were both delivered to my old address, which Yonkers should not have even had, over 90 miles away! When I did not receive the credit card in a reasonable amount of time, I emailed the sales lady for information on whom to call. She told me to call the number on the back of the card!! A little difficult when you don't have the card! Obviously, she didn't care enough to even read my email closely enough to know that I had not received the card.
Store is definitely past its prime and didn't carry what I was looking for.

When I called to cancel the order a young man quickly said that they could move the delivery date up to the next day and then became very rude when I refused. I don't understand why, if they could deliver it the next day, they didn't do that in the first place??
I ended up canceling the order. I really don't want to do business with a company who takes months to deliver in stock items, but then sends out bills for items that will not be delivered for weeks and expects the first payment before the delivery date even comes around.
it's a clean store and the employees were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the only issue was that they carry far less items and far less Brands than other Younkers in the area which caused us to have to leave this Younkers and go to another Younkers or go to a different store all together ie Von Maur or Dillard's

I also assume that after it has been delivered to someone who did not order it and being shuffled from to warehouse to warehouse for weeks, it is likely to be damaged. Then how long would it take them to make that right, if they ever did? NO THANKS! Yonkers seems to have had a lot of time to shift furniture from warehouse to warehouse in the blink of an eye, but delivery to a correct address is a difficult and time-consuming problem.
I still don't understand why, if they could get the furniture to my old address within a week and a half, they couldn't they deliver it to the address I gave them for delivery for nearly 2 months.
