I grabbed a beer and a chicken gyro from "Against the Grain", the bar and restaurant inside the hotel. The gyro and fries were great and the bartender was very pleasant.
LIKE A BOOK. If the cover is pleasing, attractive and catches your eye the inside is probably just as good.......
The next time I pass through the area I will definitely stay here again!
The hotel was ok. Our first room has a broken heater that rattled nonstop but they let us switch rooms. The shower in our second room was barely a trickle. The staff at the the front desk was nice.
Most of the time when you are looking for a place in this budget range you get very mixed results, but this hotel was an exceptional value! The staff was very friendly at check-in. The rooms seemed to have been recently updated. The bed was very comfortable. There was a very pleasant tropical fruit smell when I walked in the room. Plenty of room to get some work done at the desk and watch TV from the couch.

The Clarion is "okay" to me. The staffs kind and helpful, but other than that, there isn't a ton of positives I could list. Their beds are not very comfortable, but will do if you need a place for the night for a reasonable price. Theydo not have a hot tub and our last stay there were crickets in the rooms, hallways and pool area. The clerk said during certain seasons they have an issue with them. I feel it's a problem that could be prevented. Again if you just need a reasonably priced overnight it works, if you're looking for comfort and somewhat of a luxury stay I would go elsewhere.
