Way expensive horrible manager. Never have been so disrespected checking my into a hotel ever! As someone that travels a lot to work I would say worst so far that I have stay at as far as managers go. Room had ripped curtain. It was clean had no bed bugs that is the most positive thing I can say. If ever in cedar falls again I will not be staying here or as far as that goes I will never stay at a hotel owned by this chain!
Stayed here for a week in Nov of 2017. Room was very clean and I had no issues at all with it. Rate was also pretty cheap considering now nice the hotel was. They have free breakfast, cookies in the lobby, and a pool/gym area. Location is very convenient as it is right off 58 and is within walking distance to food and campus. I would stay here again if in the area.
Usually end up staying here once per year for a UNI football game or college buddies weekend. I have zero complaints. They have a great government rate for the military. Hot breakfast, clean rooms, and great service. Also it's fairly close to the University and a very short drive from historic downtown Cedar Falls.
First Hotel out of ~10 to offer chopped fresh fruit and real cooked oatmeal for breakfast. They also had actual plates, not paper ones. Nothing bad to say about it. My dad whom I stayed with thought it was to close to the road , and I guess that could be a problem if you are sound sensitive.
Excellent service! The two ladies working the desk could not have been any more helpful. Had a wonderful time!
