Horrible experience. Terrible amenities. Room wreaked of cigarettes even though I specifically asked for non-smoking room. Laundry machines smelled like urine. Dirty carpets. Nasty stains on bed. Cracks and stains everywhere. The worst of all, they have still not returned my deposit and it's been over a year and a half since I left. Terrible experience overall. Stay somewhere else if you can help it. You will thank yourself.

If you are looking for a clean, reasonable place to stay, I would recommend it. All of the rooms have a mini-fridge and coffee maker. They offer a small continental breakfast. They don't have a pool, hot tub and lounge/restaurant, but we generally don't utilize these amenities. Quaint Motel style accommodations with minimal amenities. Whenever we stay in Cedar Falls, we stay there.
Stayed here for one night in the single bed room. It was excellent for the price, but I'm not sure I will stay here again. I will probably shell out more money next time. I stayed in a "nonsmoking" room in the front area that really had bad odors. I'm pretty sure it was from the carpet. Kind of a mildew/dirt smell. The air conditioner worked fine and didn't stink, the mattress was worn and wrapped in plastic for some reason. The bathroom was clean with good clean grout and no mold, but the sink didn't drain very well. I guess I would stay here again if it didn't stink so bad. It was just okay in my book. I was told later that the newer rooms are in the back. Maybe I'll give them a shot next time I'm in town.
Stayed here for a wedding and it was a great place to stay. The customer service was great and the owner was very friendly. Took them no time before we were checked in and the room was just as I asked. The rooms were very comfortable and very roomy. Everything was very clean and this place is very well kept. Had a work out facility for me to get a good morning workout. A nice a quiet place to stay with no loud interruptions you find at most hotels. I would recommend a stay at this hotel and I will definitely be staying here the next time I am in town.
